Yeah, I’m a little luxury product obsessed. But, Kjaer Weis is green beauty company that deserves the hype, and I’ve been standing by that claim for a long time.

Though the metal, mirrored, and refillable compact is possibly the best beauty packaging on the market, it also comes with a steep hike in cost. I like to keep the appearance of a budget, so I’ve been dallying down the Kjaer Weis Refills route to save some money while enjoying all of the eco-luxe quality. I store these in a Z Palette, and I love the practicality of it. It’s so easy to fill it up for transport and travel, plus I can see my whole range of products laid out in front of me. The functionality is high. Since the products are cream based, I did worry about them drying out, but they have stayed rich and creamy with no issue at all. Yes, this brand is seriously dreamy. Let’s take a look inside my accumulated palette….

The Cream Blushes are my favourite product from the company. They’re highly pigmented, richly textured, easy to smooth on, and long-wearing. These are the cream blushes. In my opinion, there is no better formula out there in the green beauty world. They don’t accentuate pores and add the perfect flush of colour. From the bronzers, to the highlighters, to the colourful blushes, there’s really nothing else in this range you could ask for. And, they just released a new shade, Precious!

I’ve been testing out the Eyeshadows, and they are soft in texture with a wide range of neutrals. A lot of shades lean cool-toned in this range, and I’ve been veering to the warmer end of things these days. In all honesty, these are a semi-letdown for me because the other cream products are so amazing. I wish they’d bring out cream shadows instead of powder!

For pressed powder, I prefer Red Apple Lipstick Eyeshadows for the price point and the quality; they’ve got a bigger pan size, lower price tag, and wider shade range. However, there is one Kjaer Weis shade that I absolutely adore, Grace. It doesn’t look like much in the pan, an unassuming khaki shade, but it’s a perfect colour to wash over the lids for daytime. I’m really glad I picked this shade up and highly recommend it.

As a lip product addict, I couldn’t resist the Lip Tints, and they are great! Some of the longest-wearing natural lip products, Kjaer Weis curates a variety of bold and neutral colours and all are deliciously creamy and moisturizing. They add a youthful, sheen to the lips with a stain of colour. Rather than full-on opacity, these tints are like a tinted lip balm and impart a pretty hint of colour, which can be built up for fuller pigmentation. If anything, they could add on a range of fully opaque lipsticks. I’d love to try something like that!

Happy Cream Blush – neon pink! This packs a pigmentation punch, so be wary of a heavy hand. This is great for brightening up the complexion any time of year.

Sun Touched Cream Blush – I’ve been loving this orange/peach blush for spring. It adds an instant glow to my skin tone and complements my freckles.

Dazzling Bronzer – this is a golden, sheer wash of colour. I like the golden shimmer that isn’t too glitzy. That being said, the pigmentation of this product isn’t the best. I think there are better bronzers out there.

Radiance Highlighter – this is a highlighter for a night out; there’s nothing subtle about it, though its full intensity doesn’t show up well in pictures. Glittery, violet-hued, and shimmery awesomeness.

Wisdom Eye Shadow – I wanted to love this taupe shade, but it’s too cool for me. I think it would love beautiful on blue-eyed girls.

Earthy Calm Eye Shadow – this is a great, medium-toned brown shadow for everyday. It’s a staple product and colour.

Grace Eye Shadow – I love this! It’s the must-have of the range.

Cloud Nine Eye Shadow – This pulls bit too frosty on me. It works well as an inner-corner or brow bone highlighter. I prefer Red Apple Lipstick’s Sandcastle for an all over, neutral lid colour.

Rapture Lip Tint – this electric pink shade offers a bright pop of colour perfect for spring and summer.

Beloved Lip Tint – hop on the berry lip train without overdoing it. This creates the perfect, subtle berry lip.

So, what are my must-haves from the brand, even if they’re not in my palette?

Eyeshadow – Grace, the perfect wash of colour for daytime.

Cream Blush – Desired Glow, this blush is the stuff. It adds a beautiful, dewy glow and is so easy to smooth on.

Lip Tint – Goddess, my favourite red lipstick. Check out my in-depth post here. It really complements my green eyes and freckles without washing me out or looking off.
