Thanks to Petit Vour and some other online enablers, I learned about the Aromi Brand this past summer, more specifically its Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I picked up five different shades, and I’ve been very impressed.

Before this, I had no experience with liquid lipstick and had only heard about it. Aromi Liquid Lipsticks come in a huge array of colours at some of the best prices out there for this type of product, especially in the natural world. The staying power and matte finish is what these types of lip products are best known for, and Aromi delivers on both fronts. It stays on really well during a night out partying and drinking, and I know this from personal experience. It does start to fade to a flattering stain after four hours or so, but I think that’s a pretty impressive wear-time. In addition, I don’t find the formulation drying at all, which is a huge plus. Flaky lips are not a good look. The coverage is intense. These products deliver on bold, full coverage colour. These are lip products meant to make a statement; they’re not for the faint of heart. That’s why I usually reserve them for fun nights out.

Ingredients: Isododecane, Dimethicone, Candelilla wax, Magnesium stearate, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Benzylalcohol, Dehydroacetic acid, Caprylyl glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, fragrance, [+/- Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica (CI 77019), Silica, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Red 27 Lake (CI 45410)]

These products contain dyes and aren’t the most natural of the natural lip products available, but I think they’re the best natural alternative out there for a liquid lipstick!

I was immediately drawn to their bright pinks, purples, and reds. Check out the colours below.

Forbidden Fuchsia is an amazing colour for fall. I really recommend checking out these liquid lipsticks if you’re in the market for one. I really like them! Have you tried this brand? What are your thoughts?
